Introducing XLERPLATE LITE® steel

XLERPLATE LITE™ steel is BlueScope Steel's new grade designation for cut-to-length hot rolled structural plate grades.

Standard XLERPLATE LITE™ steel is available in thicknesses from 3mm to 12mm, while XLERPLATE LITE™ steel floorplate is available in 2.1mm to 8mm thickness range.

These products are characterised by excellent weldability and forming properties and are typically supplied untrimmed, with trimmed edge finish by enquiry.

XLERPLATE LITE™ steel is available in a range of grades (listed below) suitable for a wide variety of general fabrication, forming and structural applications such as brake press forming, light structural members, roll forming and general fabrication.

For those applications where added corrosion protection is required XLERPLATE LITE™ steel is also ideally suited for galvanizing.

Using the XLERPLATE LITE™ steel trade mark

To correctly use the XLERPLATE LITE™ steel trade mark it must always be written in upper case followed by a superscripted ™ symbol. It must also be followed by the word 'steel'.
