It has a strong technology and innovation focus, which has served it well in the novel approach it has applied to Perth's BHP Billiton City Square Tower project.

Influenced by the safety focus on buildings inthe light of 9/11, Park fabricated XLERPLATE® steel into unique tubular columns for use in the 47 level-high landmark building.

The columns used a new method of rolling steel, similar to the spiral cardboard roll of a paper towel. When the columns were transported to the site, they simply needed to be lifted, bolted in and filled with concrete. This delivered productivity benefits, saving money, as well as a positive sustainability impact.

The strength, durability and flexibility of the XLERPLATE® steel was imperative for this job.
